One on One Interview with Michelle Price of M. Brulee

Michelle Price

How did you come up with the name of your company? It’s a play off of my favorite dessert, Crème Brulee using my initial M. (I have a serious sweet tooth) each style in my collection is also named after a dessert.

When was M. Brulee founded? M. Brulee was founded in 2009

How do you feel your experience at other fashion houses has helped you develop your own brand? I had a better understanding of how the industry worked and was prepared for the many challenges involved in developing a brand.

If you were not a fashion designer what would you be doing? I love children and I am also very passionate about education and nutrition so either a teacher or Pediatrician.

You donate 10% of each purchase to a non-profit that provides to underprivileged children and families across the world.  Which non-profits have you worked with thus far and why was this important to you?  I have donated to Feed The Children, they are dedicated to delivering food, medicine and clothing to children and families in need across the world.  I believe every child deserves proper nutrition and essentials regardless of their financial status.

Where can your items be purchased? You can purchase my items at www.mbrulee.com, Vagabond Boutique in Philadelphia and Farasha Boutique in Park City, Utah.
